Describe legal guidelines and constraints that impact digital projects – How does GDPR impact digital projects?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU, which has guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals who live in the European Union (EU). This act came about after the data misuse and harvesting scandal, in which third parties companies took people’s personal data and sold it to buyers to get information and use it to their advantage. Now companies in the EU must get consent from user about their personal data, privacy and cookies. [15] [16][18][19]
